During the pandemic, Philip, a DIY enthusiast with a love for Peking Duck, faced a unique challenge while attempting to perfect this culinary masterpiece at home. Conventional convection ovens and roast pans struggled to safely and efficiently roast foods vertically. The lack of a robust, high-performance, multi-functional vertical roasting pan system meant home cooks often relied on traditional roast pans and racks, which, while functional, had significant limitations. These older tools frequently resulted in unevenly cooked food due to inconsistent heat distribution in the oven. For instance, most roasted dishes aim to achieve the ideal balance of all-around crispy skin, even browning on the outside, and juicy, tender meat on the inside. For DIY Peking Duck - with its intricate recipe and precise roasting demands - these limitations were particularly frustrating. 

Seeing an opportunity to improve the home roasting experience and deliver better results, Philip used his DIY expertise to design a prototype for a more versatile vertical roasting system. After two years of careful development with his team, he introduced a patent-pending, production-ready Vertical Roast Pan system. This innovation offers home cooks a fresh approach to roasting, addressing the aforementioned limitations while empowering them to elevate their roasting game to a whole new level. Philip’s creation brings both wow and fun back to the kitchen, making the art of roasting more accessible and enjoyable.
